About Us
John Richmann, the owner of Energymiser Building Products Inc., is no stranger to alternative building methods that are also good for the environment. In the late 1990's he build a straw bale house on his 10 acres about 40 miles south of the Grand Canyon. He has been living there ever since and has been encouraging people in environmentally friendly building practices.
In the early part of 2001 he came across ICFs. Seeing the potential and quality of the product he signed up to be a distributor. For about the past 10 years he has been passionately involved in promoting not only his product but the also the concept of "Sustainable Building."
Over the past few years John has been on the Green Building Committee for Coconino County in Arizona.
As a person of many talents John can be found in his woodshop where he designs and builds custom cabinetry for customers in the Northern Arizona region. His only advertising is by word of mouth which gives you an idea of the quality product, service and dependability people have come to know and trust.
